Accordingly, the documentary was also broadcast on Cuban National Television at the same time as Vietnam, marking a rare and historic cooperation in the television sector between the two countries.
This event once again affirms the traditional solidarity and special friendship between Vietnam and Cuba, and at the same time demonstrates the spreading of the spirit of "Independence - freedom - Happiness" that President Ho Chi Minh conveyed in the 1945 Declaration of Independence.

The documentary "Happy Seeds" recreates Vietnam's journey of transferring special rice varieties, including CT16 rice varieties, to Cuba - a brotherly country that has always stood side by side with Vietnam in the most difficult times.
Through the story of rice grains, the film depicts the image of Vietnam not only as one of the world's leading rice exporters, but also as a nation rich in compassion, ready to share knowledge and experience to cultivate a prosperous and happy life with international friends.

Mr. Jorge Legañoa Alonso - Vice President of the Cuban Institute of Information and Social Communications - emphasized: "The simultaneous broadcast of the Cuban National Television in parallel with the special documentary VTV is a vivid testament to the loyal and pure relationship between the two peoples. This is a precious spiritual gift on the occasion of the great anniversary of the Vietnamese people.
With a direct, emotional film narration, along with elaborate investment in images, music and documentaries, "Seeds of Happiness" promises to bring the audience an emotional, humane and meaningful experience.

Director Nguyen Duc De - the director of the documentary "Seeds of Happiness" said: The film does not have words, but tells the story through images, sound and emotions. Every grain of rice, every smile on the farmer's face is a simple but profound message.
In particular, the film records emotional moments of Vietnamese experts - those who have accepted being away from home, putting aside their private worries about living away from their loved ones.

They stay in the house that the Cuban people often call "Vietnamese House" in the middle of the field, where there is a lack of electricity, water and minimum living conditions, to accompany Cuban farmers every day to sow each grain of Vietnamese rice.
In hardship, their greatest joy is to see their Cuban friend smile happily when the rice is in full bloom, when the green fields are full of hope. That moment clearly clarified the simple but profound message: "Happiness will be doubled when you know how to give and help others be happy".
