The 31st Mai Vang Award officially launched

The 31st Mai Vang Award marked an important change in the award system with 4 areas including: Music, Stage, Cinema - Television, and Program.

According to the organizers, this year's awards will have some notable differences, which are to separate 2 categories in the music field - "Most Favorite Song" and "Most Favorite MV". This adjustment is to make the assessment more fair, because the song and the MV are two independent creative forms, although related, they are not consistent.

In addition, the category of "Most Favorite Group" also returned to the Mai Vang award.

In the theater field, for the first time, the category "Most Favorite Dramatic/ Political Arts Program" was added. This is a new category to encourage and motivate readers to nominate and vote for stage works and art programs with ideological value, praise history and arouse national pride.

The Mai Vang 2025 Award also maintains special awards such as: "Lifetime Artist for the Community", "Artist for the Community in 2025", "Excellent Cultural - Artistic Works in 2025" (Literature, Fine Arts, photography), and adds the award "Art Program contributing to honoring Vietnamese cultural identity" to honor programs that help preserve and develop national cultural identity.

The nomination round will take place from September 16 to November 25. The voting round will start from December 10, 2025 to January 22, 2026.

The Organizing Committee also won prizes for readers nominated with First Prize (5 million VND); Second Prize (3 million VND); Third Prize (2 million VND) and 10 Encouragement Prizes (1 million VND/tournament).
