On April 17, at the Nghe An Provincial Library (Truong Vinh ward), the launching and opening ceremony of the Nghe An Provincial Book Fair took place in a vibrant atmosphere with the theme "Each book page opened is a seed sowing seeds of knowledge".
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Nghe An province emphasized that the role of developing reading culture not only contributes to improving knowledge, effectively serving learning and work, but is also the foundation for forming and nurturing the soul and creating the unique cultural identity of each individual as well as the community.

The book fair is expected to strongly spread the habit of reading books in all classes of people. Especially promoting the role of families in reading culture.
The event is organized to respond to the 5th Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2026, contributing to honoring the value of books and affirming the role of reading culture in social life. At the same time, through rich activities, the program aims to spread the habit of reading books, arousing a passion for knowledge in the community, especially the young generation.
In addition to book display and introduction activities, the launching ceremony also brought many interesting experiences, helping readers directly access and better understand each work.

In particular, within the framework of the program, an activity was held to present books and gifts to representatives of students at SOS Children's Village Vinh. This is a meaningful activity, contributing to adding motivation to study and nurture passion for disadvantaged children.
The Nghe An Provincial Book Fair in 2026 not only creates a vibrant cultural space but also promotes the reading movement in the community; encouraging each citizen to actively access books, nurture the spirit of learning and build an increasingly sustainable spiritual and cultural life.
