According to information from the Fire and Rescue Police Department (Hai Phong City Police), at about 10:36 am on April 17, at Km 61+100 of the railway line in Nam Dong ward, Hai Phong, a fire broke out in 2 passenger train cars.
Immediately after receiving the news, Center 114 immediately mobilized forces and vehicles from the Fire and Rescue Police Team of Area 7 to the scene. Thanks to the timely deployment of formations and firefighting plans, the fire was controlled and completely extinguished. All passengers on board had proactively evacuated to a safe area beforehand, and no cases were trapped.
Initial determination, the fire did not cause any casualties. Currently, functional agencies are conducting statistics on property damage and investigating to clarify the cause of the incident according to regulations.
