On April 17, Nghe An Provincial Police held a ceremony to announce the decision to receive 30 Vinh airport security personnel into the People's Police. Attending the ceremony were leaders of the Provincial Police and Vietnam Airports Corporation.
Starting from March 1, 2025, Nghe An Provincial Police officially receives the task of ensuring aviation security at Vinh International Airport. With a very specific new task, related to the security and safety of people's lives and property, the leaders of the Provincial Police determined that aviation security is a particularly important task to direct the Police of units and localities to closely coordinate with Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) and Vinh International Airport to receive and absolutely ensure security and safety at the airport.
Faced with practical requirements, the Provincial Police have consolidated the organizational structure and built aviation security forces in a regular, elite, and modern direction.
On December 30, 2025, the Aviation Security Team under the Immigration Management Department was established to unify the direction and deployment of tasks.

Based on the requirements, tasks, political qualities and the process of monitoring the spirit, working attitude, responsibility, and dedication of the aviation security staff, the Provincial Police selected 30 comrades to recruit into the People's Police force to perform the task of ensuring aviation security.
Speaking at the ceremony announcing the decision to recruit officers into the People's Police for aviation security personnel, Colonel Tran Ngoc Tuan - Deputy Director of Nghe An Provincial Police said that the recruitment of airport security forces is an objective task, meeting practical requirements to build an increasingly strong aviation security force.
The selection work is carried out publicly, transparently, in accordance with procedures, ensuring strict standards on politics, moral qualities, professional qualifications, working capacity and health.
Leaders of the Provincial Police proposed that new officers quickly adapt to the disciplinary environment, promote practical experience combined with professional skills to build the image of a police officer "proficient, professional, serving the people". At the same time, the management unit needs to strengthen training and guidance according to the motto "holding hands and guiding", ensuring regimes and policies so that officers can feel secure in their long-term work.
