On January 15, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to preside over and coordinate with localities to organize a cultural program celebrating the Party - celebrating the Binh Ngo Spring 2026, celebrating the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026) on the New Year's Eve of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 (February 17 solar calendar).

According to the plan, the program is organized simultaneously at 3 locations: Phan Thiet, Da Lat and Gia Nghia. Along with art performances, Lam Dong province organizes low-altitude fireworks displays at 12 locations in 11 communes and wards in the area.
Specifically including: Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat, Mui Ne ward, Phan Thiet ward, Bao Loc ward 1, Bac Gia Nghia ward; Bao Lam 1, Nam Nung, Duc An, Lien Huong, Da Teh and Dak Mil communes.
Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat is proposed to organize 2 fireworks display points in the Yersin Park area and Xuan Huong Lake Tourist Wharf. Both locations are located along Xuan Huong Lake.
The expected fireworks display time is from 0:00 to 0:15 on the 1st day of the Lunar New Year (February 17th of the solar calendar). Each display point is no more than 15 minutes, using low-altitude fireworks according to regulations.
According to Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, the fireworks display costs are mobilized from socialized sources, not using the State budget.
From July 1, 2025, Lam Dong province was established on the basis of merging three provinces Lam Dong, Binh Thuan and Dak Nong. Thereby, becoming the province with the largest area in the country with more than 24,000km2 and a population of nearly 3.9 million people.
