Attending the program, on the central side were members of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh; Mr. Jonathan Senior - Chief Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam. Leaders of localities that own heritages including Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong, along with many delegates, people and Buddhists.
The program was organized by Quang Ninh province in coordination with Bac Ninh province and Hai Phong city at Minh Tam Square, Yen Tu ward, Quang Ninh province.
The ceremony attracted about 15,000 delegates, Buddhists and local people.
The ceremony to receive the World Cultural Heritage Recognition Certificate took place within the framework of a series of activities to commemorate the 717th anniversary of the Lunar New Year of Phat Tran Nhan Tong, and at the same time, it is an occasion to honor the cultural, historical and spiritual values of the relic complex.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Jonathan Senior - Chief Representative of UNESCO in Vietnam - expressed his gratitude to the Government of Vietnam, provincial authorities, experts and local communities for their contributions to protecting the authenticity and integrity of the heritage.
Today's event is a call for action and responsibility to protect outstanding global heritage values for future generations, in the context of facing the speed of urbanization and climate change.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh emphasized: The Yen Tu - Vinh Nghiem - Con Son - Kien Bac relic and scenic spot complex is the harmonious crystallization of tangible and intangible heritage, associated with the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect founded by Buddha Tran Nhan Tong, imbued with Vietnamese identity, spreading for centuries.
The heritage dossier is the first dossier in Vietnam in the form of "heritage according to chain", inter-provincial, prepared meticulously and scientifically, with the close coordination of the Central Government, three localities, UNESCO, ICOMOS, experts and the community.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and localities to continue implementing key tasks, building an effective inter-provincial coordination mechanism and fully implementing the recommendations of the World Heritage Committee, especially promoting the community role in preserving the spiritual values of Truc Lam Buddhism.

On behalf of the three localities that own the heritage, Mr. Bui Van Khang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province - emphasized: The ceremony took place on the day of the 717th anniversary of the Lunar New Year of Phat Tran Nhan Tong, an event of special significance, not only for Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh and Hai Phong but also a common pride of the nation.
The title of World Cultural Heritage is both a glory and a responsibility, opening up opportunities for sustainable development, and at the same time a reminder of the responsibility to preserve the unique spiritual and cultural values of the nation for future generations.
Localities are committed to promoting the sense of responsibility, organizing heritage management in accordance with the law and the UNESCO Convention for the Protection of Cultural Heritage; preserving the whole value, while developing sustainably, exploiting cultural resources to become a driving force for national development in the new era.

After receiving the world cultural heritage certificate, there is an art program with the participation of famous artists such as Ho Quynh Huong, Tung Duong, Ngoc Anh, Hoang Hai, Vicky Nhung, Dinh Manh Ninh, Quan A.P, Tuan cry, rapper RamC, Oplus group and artistic units: Quang Ninh Youth Club, Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command, Ha Long University, Then Club, Quang Ninh Provincial Arts Theater, Quan Ho Bac Ninh Theater, Tre Ward...
