People are excited when going to Voi Phuc Temple for free parking

Hanoi - Many people are excited when coming to the Voi Phuc Temple festival during Tet to have free parking, reduce cost pressure and create convenience for spring travel at the beginning of the year.

According to the announcement of the Management Board of the Special National Relic Temple Voi Phuc, free parking is implemented from February 17 to February 22, divided into two time frames: morning from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, afternoon from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

This organization aims to serve the needs of people to go to temples, worship and visit, and at the same time reduce pressure on the area around the relic.

Real-world records of Lao Dong reporters in the afternoon of February 21 show that the number of people flocking to the temple was quite large at the beginning of the year, but thanks to the reasonably arranged free parking spots, congestion or soliciting parking almost did not occur.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan (Giang Vo ward) said that her family comes to Voi Phuc Temple every year, but this year she feels much more convenient.

“Previously, when going to temples, I was often worried about parking, afraid of being charged high fees or having to go far to get a place. This year, parking is free, and there are clear guides, so it's very comfortable. This is a very meaningful work at the beginning of the year,” Ms. Loan shared.

Similarly, Mr. Nguyen Duc Long (Cau Giay ward) assessed that free parking helps people feel more secure when visiting.

Going to temples at the beginning of the year is mainly to pray for peace, so if supported like this, everyone is happy. I find the parking area quite orderly, without the chaotic scene like some other places," Mr. Long said.

According to a representative of Giang Vo Ward People's Committee, arranging free parking spots not only helps limit parking lot overload and prevent the situation of illegal fee collection, but also contributes to building a civilized, safe, and friendly image of the special national relic Voi Phuc Temple in the eyes of people and tourists during Tet.

Many people expect this model to continue to be maintained during major festivals, thereby creating a positive impression and improving the experience when visiting historical sites in the Capital.
