Stimulating consumer demand, developing the domestic market
Implementing the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the Government Standing Committee meeting on January 26, 2026 on the organization of the first Spring Fair in 2026; the Ministry of Industry and Trade presides over and coordinates with ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies and units to organize the first Spring Fair in 2026. The Spring Fair will take place from February 2 - 13, 2026 at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC). It is expected that the fair will arrange about 3,000 standard booths, along with outdoor spaces serving cultural - culinary - experiential activities.
With the theme "Connecting prosperity - Welcoming glorious Spring", the 2026 Spring Fair is positioned not only as a large-scale trade and service activity, but also as an important political task, contributing to: Stimulating consumer demand, developing the domestic market during the Tet peak; Connecting production - distribution - market, expanding the consumption system and domestic supply chain; Promoting Vietnamese products, Vietnamese brands, promoting cooperation - investment - trade; Spreading national cultural values, creating a joyful and vibrant atmosphere during the traditional Tet holiday.
The organization of the 2026 Spring Fair shows the Government's determination in developing domestic trade to become an important pillar of the economy, accompanying exports and investment; and at the same time creating motivation to promote production, circulation, and distribution of goods serving Tet consumption, contributing to stabilizing the market and increasing the confidence of people and businesses right from the beginning of the year.
Spring travel in 8 subdivisions
The fair is organized as a cross-Vietnam spring travel journey, where economic, cultural and creative values converge; structured into 08 prominent content sub-zones.
The thematic Local Sub-zone - Ho Chi Minh City plays the central role of the Fair, being the starting point of the spring travel journey. The space comprehensively introduces outstanding achievements in economic, industrial, commercial, financial, innovation, culture and tourism development of Ho Chi Minh City...
The "Spring Homeland Tour - Four-way Product" sub-area brings an exhibition space of typical regional products, socio-economic development achievements, trade and investment potential, and attractive cultural and tourist destinations during Tet.
The sub-zone "Vietnamese Agricultural Products - Spreading Spring Colors" chaired by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment is a highlight of agriculture and rural economy.
The "Spring Prosperity" sub-zone is chaired by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, gathering multi-industry enterprises operating in the fields of industry, commerce, distribution and services.
Next is the value chain exhibition of textiles, garments, footwear, wooden furniture and handicrafts (VIVC 2026) organized with the message "From raw materials to the market - Comprehensive value chain".
The "Tet Sum vay" space, chaired by Hanoi city, recreates the traditional Tet atmosphere of Vietnamese people through handicrafts, traditional craft villages, and a series of cultural experience activities such as calligraphy, parallel sentences, Chung cake wrapping, traditional craft performances, introduction of cuisine, costumes and tourism of the Capital.
The "Vietnamese Cultural Quintessence" sub-zone, chaired by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, creates the "Vietnamese Spring Colors" space, introducing and gradually commercializing products of the cultural industries.
Supporting the indoor and outdoor display space with the "Connected Spring Flavor" sub-area, bringing a cozy Spring cuisine space, where people and tourists gather to enjoy unique dishes, exchange and experience the festival atmosphere, contributing to completing the spring travel journey at the Fair.
