After literary authors, for the first time, the Children's De Men award has a musician, knight De Men - that is musician Pham Tuyen. Of the more than 700 songs that left a deep impression in the life of Vietnamese music, musician Pham Tuyen dedicated more than 200 articles to children.
And few people know that musician Pham Tuyen also has another special "treasure: 41 traditional Dao bronze songs sung by him, containing the charming and close beauty of the natural scenery, people, and folk culture of Vietnam. This is also the first time, after many years of lying still in the music book, that "treasure" has been introduced through the book project "Bad Bridge of the Baby" told by his own daughter - journalist Pham Hong Tuyen!
Poet Tran Dang Khoa - Chairman of the Jury commented: "Musician Pham Tuyen is a great musician. He is a great tree in the Vietnamese music industry, especially in the composition for children to closely monitor their maturity through music. With his lifelong and career contributions to children, musician Pham Tuyen deserves the title "Hiep si De Men".
The 6th De Men Children's Tournament was launched by Vietnam Sports and Culture Newspaper (VCSP) in March 2025. The judges (poet Tran Dang Khoa, artist Thanh Chuong, Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Van Gia, poet Nguyen Tien Thanh...) selected from 97 outstanding children's works to select the Top 10 works, cluster of the best works for the final round.
This year's award also honors a series of young authors who have just written for children. 3/5 of the "Aspiration for Man" awards are for young authors, new writers for children.
The 6th De Men Children's Award is quite diverse in different types of literature and art such as literature, painting, and music. In which, literature dominated with 6 collections of stories, 2 collections of poems, 1 comic book, 1 painting and 1 music collection.
5 6th Aspiration for Men 2025 were awarded:
- A painting by children's artist Pham Hai Nguyen (13 years old).
- "There is a flat Earth in my eyes" (edited poem by Ly Thang Long).
- "The Ancestor of a Mother God" (a story by Nguyen Hoang Dieu Thuy, Kim Dong Publishing House).
- dy Duyen's two novels - "From the vegetable fields at Cuc Cu farm" (Dom Dom painted, Kim Dong Publishing House) and "The things you use to fill a hole" (Thanh Vu painted, Kim Dong Publishing House).
- "end of the forest camp" (District of Pham Cong Luan, Kim Dong Publishing House).
