He is one of the pillars of the Ho Chi Minh City Boi Singing Arts Theater. Although he has retired, he is still working hard to pass on the profession to the younger generation.
At the time of developing stage 3 nasopharyngeal cancer, People's Artist Xuan Quan still played supporting roles and continued to teach at Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema.
With a 3-generation tradition of being associated with the art of performing, he has had many lifelong roles and won many gold medals at street art festivals and festivals. The most famous of which is the role of Trinh An (in "Tram Trinh An").
