On December 25, information from the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province said that the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dau Thanh Tung province has just signed a decision to establish the Management Board of the Ho Dinh Thanh and key relics of the province, under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

According to the decision, the Management Board of the Ho Dynasty Citadel and key relics of the province was established on the basis of reorganizing the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center; at the same time, receiving the functions and tasks of managing the Lam Kinh Special National Historical Site and the Ba Trieu Special National Architectural and Artistic Site from the Thanh Hoa Heritage Research and Conservation Center.
In addition, the Board is assigned the function and task of managing the National Historical - Scenic Landscape Landscape Site of Ba Trieu Uprising (including Nui Nua, Denua, Am Tien) and managing the special-use forest associated with historical relics.
The Management Board is a public service unit that collects and self-guarantee a part of regular expenditures; has the function of comprehensively protecting and preserving the World Heritage Site of the Imperial Citadel and key relics assigned for management; scientific research; restoration and embellishment of relics; restoration and embellishment of artifacts; landscape protection, environmental control; explanation and education; museum and library activities; art performances, intangible cultural heritage performances; communication, foreign affairs; consulting on conservation, project management and community cooperation.
The Management Board has legal status, its own seal and account; the head office is located at the World Heritage Site of Hanoi Citadel (in Tay Do commune). The affiliated facilities include: Lam Kinh Special National Historical Site (Lam Son Commune); Ba Trieu Special National Historical and Artistic Site (Trieu Loc Commune); National Historical Site - Scenic Landscape Site of Ba Trieu Uprising (Nui Nua, Denua, Am Tien), located in Tan Ninh, Mau Lam, Trung Chinh communes, Thanh Hoa province.
