From now until the end of 2025, FDI enterprises in Hai Phong have basically stabilized their orders, and the demand for labor recruitment is increasing.

Large enterprises simultaneously recruit workers

In August, Regina Miracle International Vietnam Co., Ltd. (VSIP Industrial Park) - the unit with the largest number of employees in Hai Phong announced the recruitment of workers in all 5 factories, the number of which is up to thousands of people.

In which, factory A recruited 200 garment workers along with some packaging and matching workers; factory B recruited 200 fabric-shaping and patching workers and 100 hydraulic press workers. The company's factory C recruits more than 600 positions, including 500 sewing workers, 50 inspection workers and some positions for order management and testing; factory E recruits 200 sewing workers and about 80 workers for shaping, processing, packaging...

Maple Company Limited (in the same VSIP Industrial Park) is also in need of recruiting 100 sewing workers and 8 workers in the fields of sewing, electrical maintenance, order management... From August to December 2025, Aurora Vietnam Shoe Industry Co., Ltd. (Tien Huong Ward, Hai Phong City) is also urgently recruiting 1,000 skilled workers, unskilled workers to work in the departments of Sewing, Cutting, Hoan Thien, De, CBY, Inning Xoa, warehouse and QC. This company also announced a vocational training bonus for employees up to 3 million VND/person, extending seniority, keeping the old salary for workers who have retired and returned to work.

According to the report of the Industrial Park Trade Union of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation, enterprises in industrial parks mostly have stable jobs and need to recruit workers. In Dinh Vu Industrial Park, 62.5% of units have stable orders, about 25% have difficulties with orders or human resources and only a small percentage lack raw materials.

The recruitment demand from now until the end of the year is estimated at about 4,140 workers. In An Duong Industrial Park, 11/29 enterprises need to recruit 4,370 workers...

Expanding labor recruitment channels

Demand is increasing, however, according to the reflection of businesses in Dinh Vu Industrial Park, the market in Hai Phong currently lacks unskilled labor, the average working age is increasing, leading to difficulties for businesses to recruit workers.

Similarly, in An Duong Industrial Park, the shortage of labor is the biggest challenge for businesses in the context of units continuously expanding their scale. Recently, at the preliminary meeting of the activities of the An Duong Industrial Park Trade Union President Club, units proposed that the city direct the authorities to increase the organization of large-scale job exchanges, directly connecting businesses with universities, colleges, and vocational training centers inside and outside the city to attract human resources.

The representative of Dinh Vu Industrial Park also recommended that the authorities coordinate with businesses to expand recruitment channels. At the same time, the city needs to have more breakthrough policies in building social housing as well as welfare works, ensuring enough schools for workers' children. Thereby, attracting workers from other provinces and cities to work and settle permanently in Hai Phong.

It is known that in Hai Phong, the Employment Service Center (Department of Home Affairs) maintains the organization of online, live job fairs every Monday morning. Each trading session attracts dozens of businesses to participate in recruitment. Through this activity, thousands of workers have access to employers, found suitable jobs...

On the trade union side, the Hai Phong City Labor Federation is continuing to direct trade unions at all levels to promptly grasp the thoughts and aspirations of workers; negotiate and propose regimes and benefits to increase income, improve working conditions to attract workers from other provinces. To date, 92.4% of enterprises in industrial parks have applied a minimum wage higher than the regional minimum wage (14.7%), raising the average salary of Hai Phong City employees to 8.1 million VND/month.
