Exporting Japanese labor at a cost of 0 VND
From 2022 to present, Quang Nam College has cooperated with frieden Company (Japan) to send the school's veterinary Veterinary Veterinary Graduates to work at the company under the Internship program, at a cost of 0 VND.
Ms. Vu Thi Phuong Anh - Principal of Quang Nam College - said that for students who register to do an internship in Japan under the Internship program, the school will coordinate with NTE company and the International Exchange Association for Education and Health to provide free Japanese language training for students for 9 months, to achieve the N5 level before going to Japan for internship and work with high efficiency.
According to the Internship program, the student's internship period in Japan is 1 year with a basic salary of nearly 30 million VND/month. After that, students will be granted a degree and stay at the company for the next 2 years according to the basic salary of the company where they work. From the 4th year onwards, the average salary will reach more than 40 million VND/month. On average, 2 students of the school participate in this program each year.
According to statistics from the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, each year nearly 1,000 workers of the province are sent to Japan to work under labor export programs. In the period of 2020 - 2021, the province has 657 workers working in Japan, from 2022 to now this number has increased to 3,010 people.
Mr. Mori Takero - Consul General of Japan in Da Nang assessed that the majority of Quang Nam workers work hard, diligently, and comply with the laws of the host country, and are highly appreciated by employers. The Japanese side pledged to actively support Quang Nam in training, settling labor and issuing visas to workers in Japan.
Expanding vocational training cooperation
Dr. Le Ngoc Vien - Principal of the Central College of Technology, Economics & Irrigation - said that every year, the school signs a cooperation agreement with Takara Group (Japan) to organize a consulting program and introduce job opportunities in Japan for students of the school.
Takara's 3 partners from Japan, including Ocean Company, Nanawa Company and Sagami Company, have trusted and chosen the school as a destination for exchange and towards cooperation in the field of training and recruitment.
The school's leaders informed that the school's development strategy is to improve the quality of training, associated with skills training and Japanese language training so that students can meet the requirements of working in a professional environment in the country and Japan.
Quang Nam expands cooperation with Cuba, Laos, Canada and Taiwan (China) to develop human resource training, creating more opportunities to improve skills and stable jobs for local workers.
Ms. Ho Thi Le (Tay Giang district, Quang Nam) had many difficulties in finding a job. After attending a restaurant training course at the Central College of Technology, Economics & Irrigation, she was accepted to work at a large hotel in Hoi An with a salary of more than 10 million VND/month. "Thanks to the job training and introduction program, I have a suitable job and stabilized my life" - Ms. Le shared.
Mr. Nguyen Qui Quy - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Quang Nam province - said that in 2025, the province will continue to focus on key industries, linking training with market demand, improving the quality of human resources to meet the requirements of economic development. Strengthening cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises will be a strategic direction, ensuring human resource training associated with sustainable employment solutions.
Quang Nam province currently has 24 vocational training institutions with 1,513 teachers receiving regular training to improve the quality of teaching. The rate of students with intermediate and college degrees having jobs right after graduation is over 70%, of which many majors are 100% such as automotive technology, mechanics, animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, restaurants, and hotels.
