Officials receive "rain" of compliments from the people
From today (July 1, 2025), along with provinces and cities across the country, local governments at both levels, including the provincial and commune levels, have officially come into operation. In Quang Ngai, thousands of cadres from Kon Tum, after traveling about 160 km, have also stabilized their accommodation and been present at agencies in the province very early, focusing on the rotation of work, ready to serve the people with a very high standard of service.
It is noted that in Nghia Lo ward, there are many people coming to handle administrative procedures. Talking to reporters, Ms. Pham Thi Nhu Hoa, residing in Group 2, Nghia Lo Ward, Quang Ngai Province, expressed: "I came to request the first issuance of a red book. After receiving it for 10 minutes, the officer informed me that my application had been processed. The settlement procedures are very quick. The service atmosphere of the staff is excellent, the people are very satisfied".

Also from early morning on July 1, Mr. Phan Van Luong, residing in An Hoi Bac 2 village, Nghia Giang commune, Quang Ngai province, went to the Nghia Giang Commune Public Administration Center to handle paperwork. As an early arrival, Mr. Luong was quickly processed by the officers. He shared:
"I went to the Nghia Giang Commune Public Administration Center to complete the procedures to change the owner of the red book. I am very happy that the staff processes documents quickly. The operation of the two-level government has facilitated people in handling administrative procedures, so people are very excited.
In Nghia Giang commune - the commune was established on the basis of merging the entire natural area and population of 3 communes including: Nghia Thuan, Nghia Ky and Nghia Dien - where the working headquarters was located in Nghia Ky commune (old). The first day of the Nghia Giang commune government officially coming into operation took place in a solemn and exciting atmosphere. From early morning, at the headquarters of the Commune People's Committee, cadres and civil servants arrived to work fully and people came to handle administrative procedures, creating a promising start for the new development stage.
Mr. Truong Van Trung - Vice Chairman of Nghia Giang Commune People's Committee - said that on the first day of operating the two-level government, the Commune Public Administration Center proactively arranged human resources appropriately to ensure the settlement of administrative procedures for people took place smoothly and continuously. The entire process from receiving documents, instructions to handling and returning results is maintained stably, without congestion or interruption.
Overcoming hundreds of kilometers, ready to serve the people
To make the two-level government apparatus operate smoothly on the first day, thousands of cadres and civil servants from Kon Tum were also present in Quang Ngai to get to work. Speaking to reporters, Mr. Bui Hanh Quan - a civil servant of the Department of Finance - Planning under the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province - said:
"I prepared my luggage from Kon Tum to Quang Ngai very early. With the help of leaders and colleagues, I approached the work very quickly, ready to serve the people".

According to the leader of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Ngai province, after the merger, the Department is the unit with the largest number of civil servants, public employees and workers in the province with more than 2,000 people. Before the new Department of Agriculture and Environment officially came into operation, the two old departments coordinated very smoothly.
The work of moving documents, records, and equipment from the Department of Agriculture and the Department of Environment of the old Kon Tum province to Quang Ngai was completed on June 30. Equipment has also been arranged in the offices. From July 1, 2025, civil servants, public employees and workers have immediately started work, without interruption of tasks.
