On January 1st, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak said that to date, the whole province has put into operation 19 industrial clusters with a total area of nearly 857ha.
In the coming time, the locality will continue to expand the scale of industrial production with the establishment of 2 new industrial clusters including Buon Cham (Krong Ana commune) and Tan Tien (Tan Tien commune).
Functional agencies are completing appraisal procedures for technical infrastructure projects for 2 other industrial clusters in Krong Nang commune and Cu Bao ward.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade of Dak Lak, currently industrial clusters in the area have attracted 202 operating projects, with a total registered capital of more than 8,771 billion VND; the occupancy rate reached 60.6%, creating jobs for about 6,900 workers.
In parallel with attracting investment, the province pays special attention to completing technical infrastructure and environmental protection. To date, the centralized wastewater treatment system at Tan An 1 and Tan An 2 industrial clusters has been completed; Ea Dar industrial cluster has been granted environmental permits and is implementing connections.
At Cu Kuin and Krong Buk 1 industrial clusters, the construction progress of the wastewater treatment system reached about 50%. Ea Le industrial cluster alone is urgently clearing ground to soon invest in the internal transportation system.
