2 new shallow ports announced by the Ministry of Construction

According to the announcement of the Ministry of Construction, 2 new shallow ports have been added.

On April 1, the Ministry of Construction said that the unit had just announced the List of new Vietnamese shallow ports.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Construction, the Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration is responsible for investing in the construction, management and operation of shallow ports and relevant legal regulations.

This decision takes effect from March 31, replacing Decision No. 287/QD-BXD dated March 21, 2025 of the Ministry of Construction on announcing the List of Vietnamese shallow ports.

Thus, compared to the old decision, there are 2 new shallow ports announced: Cai Mep shallow port and Tan Cang - Moc Bai shallow port (phase 1).
