Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee has just issued an official dispatch on considering the request of LSH Logistics Joint Stock Company.
The official dispatch sent to the Department of Agriculture and Environment and LSH Logistics Joint Stock Company stated that on December 25, 2025, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee received a document from LSH Logistics Joint Stock Company on considering and approving the allocation of minerals/soil and sand sources as materials for leveling and construction of an investment project to build a dry port area and logistics services in Phong Khe ward, Bac Ninh city and Dong Phong commune, Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh province (old);
The Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to consider and respond to the request of Logistics LSH Joint Stock Company mentioned above in accordance with the law.
According to the reporter's investigation, the dry port area and logistics service project in Phong Khe ward and Dong Phong commune, former Bac Ninh province (referred to as Phong Khe port) was approved by the Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee for detailed planning in April 2021.
The planning scale of Phong Khe port is more than 94.5ha, of which the area of the dry port area and logistics services is more than 87.1ha; the area of the cemetery area is nearly 2.7ha; the area of the external traffic road (DT295C access road and QL18 access road) is about 4.75ha.
In October 2021, Bac Ninh province called for investment in the above project with a total investment capital of more than 4.609 billion VND. Of which the project implementation cost is 4.225 billion VND, compensation and resettlement support costs are expected to be more than 348 billion VND.
In February 2022, Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving LSH Logistics Company as the investor to implement the Phong Khe port project.
The conversion of the entire Phong Khe craft village into a dry port area and logistics services is considered a solution to completely solve the environmental pollution situation here, which has existed for decades.
