On the evening of August 20, information from Rang Dong Commune People's Committee, Ninh Binh province, at about 6 pm on the same day, Rang Dong Commune Police received a report from people about 2 women being struck by lightning unconscious in the sea dike road area in the area.
Upon receiving the news, Rang Dong Commune Police were present at the scene, coordinating to take the two victims to the hospital for emergency treatment.
The two victims were identified as Ms. N (born in 1981) and Ms. T (born in 1987), both residing in Hai Hung commune, Ninh Binh province.
Initial information, the two victims died from lightning strikes.
According to local people, at the time of the incident, thunderstorms appeared in Rang Dong commune.
Rang Dong Commune Police reported to the leaders of Ninh Binh Provincial Police about the incident, and at the same time coordinated with the families of the victims to resolve and complete related procedures.
