On the afternoon of August 20, at the National Assembly House, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a cordial meeting with the participation of leaders of the National Assembly, the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front with National Assembly deputies of the 16th term belonging to the Front bloc at the Central and local levels.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Tran Thanh Man - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly; Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; Mr. Le Tien Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister...

Also attending were Ms. Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Vice Presidents of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice President - Secretary General of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Ha Thi Nga emphasized that the meeting is an opportunity for delegates to meet, share, strengthen attachment and exchange views on coordination between the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front to jointly aim to perform well the tasks of each party in the coming time.

Vice Chairman - General Secretary Ha Thi Nga said that in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term, 39 deputies who are leaders, officials, and typical individuals of the Front bloc were trusted by voters nationwide to be elected as National Assembly deputies. Among them, there are 27 deputies from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, representatives of member organizations at the Central level, typical individuals introduced by the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; there are 12 deputies who are Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, and officials of the Fatherland Front of provinces and cities.

Notably, many localities have a number of Front officials participating in the 16th National Assembly, such as: Lang Son province (3 delegates), Lao Cai province (2 delegates) and Ninh Binh province (2 delegates).

Right at the first session, National Assembly deputies belonging to the Front bloc, who are representatives of all classes, forces and social components, were assigned by the National Assembly Standing Committee to participate in the Ethnic Council and Committees of the 16th National Assembly. This is not only an honor and pride for each delegate but also a condition and opportunity for the Front to bring the voices, thoughts and legitimate aspirations of all classes of people to the National Assembly's hall, making practical contributions to the process of building policies, laws and deciding on important issues of the country.

The Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front respectfully requests and wishes the delegates of the 16th National Assembly belonging to the Front bloc to continue to maximize their experience, prestige, intelligence and strengths to make practical and effective contributions to the activities of the National Assembly and Front work" - Vice Chairman - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga emphasized.

On this occasion, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vice President - Secretary General Ha Thi Nga respectfully requested the National Assembly Standing Committee, the National Assembly Chairman personally, the National Assembly Vice Chairmen and the National Assembly Committees to continue to pay attention, support, and create all favorable conditions for the coordination activities between the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National Assembly Standing Committee to achieve many practical results in the coming time.
