In the city, there was a traffic accident that injured one person.
Regarding the results of inspection and handling of traffic safety violations, the city's functional forces have patrolled, controlled, and handled 255 cases (35 cars, 197 motorbikes, 18 other vehicles, 5 watercraft); fines for the violation of paying the State budget of VND 727,600,000. Revoked driving licenses, certificates, and professional certificates: 1 case, 16 cases of driver's license points; Temporarily detained: 59 motorbikes; 18 other vehicles.
In particular, on May 1 alone, the Traffic Police Department, Hai Phong City Police deployed 86 working groups, mobilizing 390 police officers to participate in traffic patrol and control, thereby controlling 3,331 vehicles during the day. As a result, 214 violations (35 cars, 157 motorbikes, 18 other vehicles, 4 watercraft) were handled; the fine for the violation was VND 615,400,000.
