According to statistics from Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, in the first 10 months of 2025, there were 21 fires in the province, injuring 1 person and killing 1 person. Property damage from the fires is over VND8.4 billion.
Compared to the same period in 2024, the number of fires decreased by 25 cases, property damage decreased by nearly 2 billion VND.
The Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police force organized rescue and relief in 24 cases, successfully rescued 65 victims, and found the bodies of 20 victims.
In the past 10 months, the units have periodically inspected fire prevention, fire fighting and rescue safety for 1,253 facilities, instructing 2,005 safety contents.
Checking fire prevention, fire fighting and emergency rescue safety for the two facilities; making 2 inspection records, instructing the facilities to continue to comply with the suspension decision.
At the same time, inspect the fire prevention and fighting safety of 66 locations and areas where programs and events are held; instruct 975 facilities under management to declare information to serve the construction of a national database on fire prevention and fighting
Sanctioned 25 organizations and 3 individuals for administrative violations in the field of fire prevention and fighting with a fine of more than 400 million VND.
According to Colonel Le Quang Dong, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, in the last months of 2025, professional units will step up fire safety inspection for facilities.
Continue to guide the facility to completely overcome existing problems, limitations and violations.
Resolutely do not let new facilities that are not safe or have not been approved, accepted for fire prevention and fighting have been put into operation.
On the afternoon of October 29, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police announced the establishment of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 8 under the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department.
The team has 3 team commanders and 33 officers and soldiers, in charge of the areas of communes and wards: Phan Rang, Dong Hai, Ninh Chu, Bao An, Do Vinh, Ninh Phuoc, Phuoc Huu, Phuoc Hau, Xuan Hai, Vinh Hai, Ninh Hai, Thuan Bac, Cong Hai.
