On July 5, according to the plan of Dong Nai City People's Committee on organizing the commencement of key traffic projects in the city, it is expected that on July 10, Dong Nai will continue to start construction of 3 traffic road projects connecting Long Thanh airport, including: Project to upgrade and expand DT. 769 road; Project to build DT. 770B road and Project to upgrade and expand DT. 773 road (Long Thanh - Cam My - Xuan Loc).
The DT. 769 Road Upgrade and Expansion Project is nearly 30 km long, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 at Dau Giay intersection, Dau Giay ward, Dong Nai city; ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 at Loc An intersection, Long Thanh ward, Dong Nai city, in order to increase connectivity and shorten travel time from localities and provinces in the Central Highlands and South Central Coast regions in general to Long Thanh airport. The project has a total land acquisition area of about 135.5 ha in 3 communes and wards including: Dau Giay, Binh An and Long Thanh.
The DT 770B Road Construction Project is more than 42km long, with the starting point intersecting with DT 763 road (Xuan Bac commune) and the ending point intersecting with National Highway 51 (in Phuoc Thai commune) planned with a road boundary of 60m, with 4-8 lanes. The project has a total recovered land area of more than 370 ha with a total length of the road of more than 42km passing through 9 communes and wards including: Xuan Bac, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Dau Giay, Gia Kiem, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Binh Loc, Xuan Lap. The project connects the eastern and northeastern communes and wards of Dong Nai city with Long Thanh airport and Xuan Que - Song Nhan industrial parks, Bau Can - Tan Hiep industrial park, connecting the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, National Highway 51 and Cai Mep - Thi Vai seaport area (HCMC).
The project to upgrade and expand DT. 773 route has a total length of nearly 40km, starting point intersecting with National Highway 1 (Km1789+300), ending point to Huong Lo 10 intersecting with Ring Road 4 HCMC, shortening travel time from Dong Nai communes and wards as well as the Central Highlands and South Central region provinces to Long Thanh airport. The project has a total recovered land area of more than 300 hectares.
Previously, on June 30, Dong Nai City People's Committee held a groundbreaking ceremony for 3 projects including: Component Project 1: Investment in construction of the section from Ma Da bridge to Ba Hao intersection; Component Project 1-2: Compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads on the city's territory under the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 4 Construction Investment Project; Nguyen Huu Canh Avenue Construction Investment Project (section from National Highway 51 to Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway).
