3 trucks collided in Binh Dinh, 4 people injured

Authorities in Binh Dinh province are investigating an accident involving three trucks on Highway 1A bypass (through An Nhon town), injuring four people.

On the evening of February 11, speaking with Lao Dong, the leader of Tuy Phuoc Traffic Police Station (Traffic Police Department, Binh Dinh Province Police) confirmed that an accident had just occurred between 3 trucks in the National Highway 1A bypass area, through An Nhon town (Binh Dinh).

"The accident injured four people. The victims were taken to Binh Dinh General Hospital for emergency treatment and health checks. The initial cause of the accident was due to trucks competing to overtake," he said.

According to initial information, at around 7:00 p.m. the same day, at the National Highway 1A bypass, through Trung Dinh village (Nhon An commune), an accident occurred between 3 trucks with license plates 75C-047.14, 51C-444.00 and 92H-014.08, injuring 4 people. At the scene, the front of the 3 trucks was severely damaged.

One person in the truck with license plate 75C-047.14 was trapped in the cabin and had to be rescued by the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Binh Dinh Province.

Traffic police are currently at the scene to regulate traffic and coordinate with An Nhon Town Police to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
