On August 31, Lao Cai Provincial Police informed that the Ministry of Public Security has just coordinated with units and Global Telecommunications Technology Corporation (GTEL), FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company (FPT Telecom) to complete and hand over 4 STEM practice rooms to 4 inter-level boarding primary and secondary schools in border communes in the area.
4 STEM practice rooms awarded by General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Minister of Public Security to create conditions for students in border areas with many difficulties to access, practice and experience science and technology.
The awarding ceremony is expected to be held at schools during the opening of the new school year on September 5, 2026.
STEM practice rooms are equipped with many devices for learning and experiencing science and technology such as Robot assembly kits, Olympic Robot Arena, Neo One Box, 3D printers, animation filmmaking stations...
This will be a space for students to directly assemble, program, control, experiment and create, thereby turning knowledge into practical experiences.

With the Robot Assembly Kit and the Robot Olympic Arena, students can self-assemble and control the Robot to perform tasks such as shooting balls and collecting balls.
In addition, Neo One Box on computers helps children experience creative games and train logical thinking.
3D printers help students get acquainted with three-dimensional spatial thinking and digital production processes; animation filmmaking stations create conditions for them to develop their imagination, creativity and express ideas.
To ensure that practice rooms are exploited effectively, teachers at schools will be trained and guided by STEM experts to organize activities suitable to actual conditions.
