48.4 million successful queries for social insurance book information
According to the Report on the results of the implementation of Project 06 for the first 6 months of 2025 by Vietnam Social Security, there have been more than 48.4 million successful queries for social insurance book information to integrate into the VNeID application.
Accordingly, Vietnam Social Insurance is maintaining data connection when there is a request from an employee to integrate information about the social insurance participation process into the VNeID application. To date, there have been more than 48.4 million successful queries for social insurance book information to integrate into the VNeID application.
In addition, Vietnam Social Security has coordinated with the Department of Administrative Police for Social Order (Department C06) - Ministry of Public Security to adjust and upgrade the VssID application, Vietnam Social Security's DVC Portal to meet the requirements of connecting and integrating VNeID accounts with the VssID application, Vietnam Social Security's DVC Portal (logging in to the VssID application, Vietnam Social Security's DVC Portal via VNeID account).
To date, there have been more than 22.3 million VNeID account users logged in to the VssID application.
In addition, up to now, 100% of health insurance treatment facilities have deployed health insurance treatment using chip-embedded CCCDs (meeting the requirement of looking up health insurance card information using personal identification numbers/CCCDs), with more than 237.5 million searches of health insurance card information using personal identification numbers/CCCD successfully serving health insurance treatment procedures, an increase of 83.7 million searches compared to December 31, 2024.
With the implementation of health insurance treatment using CCCD, health insurance patients only need to use CCCD to complete the procedures for health insurance treatment, helping to simplify procedures, saving time for both patients and medical staff, the Social Insurance agency also saves on the cost of printing and issuing health insurance cards.
Authentication of more than 100.2 million citizens in the national database
Regarding the implementation of connecting and sharing data between national population databases and national insurance databases, up to now, the Vietnam Social Insurance system has authenticated more than 100.2 million citizen information in the database managed by Vietnam Social Insurance, of which about 91 million people are participating and receiving social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance, accounting for 99.23% of the total number of participants (excluding armed forces and military relatives) with the national population database.
The synchronization and authentication of personal identification numbers of social insurance and health insurance participants with the national population database has helped enrich, clean, and standardize the database of the two Social Insurance and Police sectors.
After completing the collection, updating, and authentication of 100% of participants with the National Population Database, Vietnam Social Insurance will gradually switch to using the personal identification number of participants instead of the social insurance code.
This is an important step forward to create unity in human management, creating a foundation for connection, sharing, and connectivity between state agencies, creating maximum convenience for people.
Regarding the implementation of integrating and providing online public services: the entire social insurance system has processed 1,901,033 records, including: 1,880,742 records of issuing health insurance cards for children under 06 years old; 19,672 records of settling funeral fees and 619 records of settling death benefits.
The connection of birth certificates and death certificates through the infrastructure of Vietnam Social Insurance has created a very important utility, which is an input to help people to perform DVC online for the entire process for 02 groups of related administrative procedures: birth registration - permanent registration - issuance of health insurance cards for children under 6 years old; Death registration - Expiry of permanent registration - Support for funeral expenses, Funeral allowance (previously, people had to go to the People's Committees of communes and wards to submit a copy of birth certificates and death certificates when completing procedures for birth registration, Death registration).
