On the morning of December 10, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Hydrometeorological Station issued a forecast bulletin stating that today the weather in Khanh Hoa will be cloudy, with scattered to moderate rain; the North and West of the province will have heavy rain and thunderstorms.
Total rainfall is generally 20-60mm, in some places in the West exceeding 90mm.
According to records in the past 24 hours, the total capacity of 64 reservoirs in the province (including 53 irrigation reservoirs and 11 hydroelectric reservoirs) as of 6:00 a.m. on December 9 reached 645.4 million m3, equivalent to 85.8% of the designed capacity.
It is forecasted that on December 10, the sea off Khanh Hoa and Truong Sa Special Zone will have northeast winds of level 6, sometimes strong at level 7, gusting to level 8-9; rough seas, waves 2-5m high.
In the next 24 hours, the water level on rivers in Khanh Hoa is likely to appear at flood level 1-2, some rivers may exceed alert level 2.
