In the early morning of October 12, a serious traffic accident on Vo Chi Cong Street (through Tam Anh Commune, Da Nang) caused 7 people to be hospitalized in a state of multiple injuries.
According to initial information, the victims were a family traveling from Quang Ngai to Da Nang, and when they reached the above area, they unfortunately had an accident.
The leader of Quang Nam General Hospital said that at around 1 a.m., the hospital's Emergency Department simultaneously received 7 victims in a traffic accident and immediately activated the red alert process to mobilize all resources, racing against time to treat the victims.
Among the victims, there was a particularly serious case of a 1-year-old child with a traumatic brain injury. Despite the immediate surgery, the patient's prognosis was still "very serious".
Two other cases of severe injuries have also undergone successful surgery and are showing signs of stability. The remaining victims suffered multiple injuries, have been treated and are being actively monitored in the Resuscitation Department.
