On August 20, at Ninh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery, Xuan Hai commune, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Khanh Hoa province solemnly organized a ceremony to pay respects, commemorate and bury 8 martyrs who were searched for and gathered in Dong Hai, Phan Rang and Phuoc Huu localities.
8 martyrs had previously been moved to the Ninh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery Management House for preservation, preparation for the funeral, memorial service and burial.
In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates offered incense and flowers to commemorate, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs - those who spared no blood and bones, bravely sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
After the memorial service, 8 martyrs were buried at Ninh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery in the solemn and respectful farewell of the Party Committee, government, armed forces, relatives and local people.
To ensure security and safety for the ceremony, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police have synchronously deployed plans to ensure security, order, and traffic safety, and proactively prevent and handle arising situations.
Professional units and the Police of relevant communes and wards are assigned forces to ensure security and order in the exhumation area, on the moving route, at Ninh Thuan Martyrs' Cemetery and related areas.
