During the 3 days from May 22-24, the famtrip group, consisting of 80 strategic partners in the fields of tourism, media and accommodation and entertainment services nationwide, came to experience new tourism products in Phu Quoc. With the theme "Phu Quoc - Paradise of the Sea 2025", the delegation connected and shared sustainable development orientations for Phu Quoc tourism industry in the coming time.
Mr. Nguyen Vu Khac Huy - Permanent Vice President of Kien Giang Tourism Association said that during the 3 days, the famtrip delegation had the opportunity to survey and experience services at VinWonders Phu Quoc, Grand World Phu Quoc, Hon Thom cable car, Sunset Town, Vietnam quintessence shows, culinary services, accommodation facilities, traditional craft facilities... of Phu Quoc.
"We invite units and businesses in areas with a large number of domestic visitors to Phu Quoc to enhance connections and promote cooperation in the coming time. Through practical experience with new services, the units will have orientations in the tour design plan for tourists", Mr. Huy shared.
Ms. Ho Thi Suong Lan, Vice President of Hue Travel Association shared: I feel that Phu Quoc has a very new source of energy, worthy of being the locomotive of Kien Giang tourism industry. In the past 3 days of the survey, we have experienced many interesting and unique services, destinations, truly high-class services, high-end areas with high investment, and scale.

Currently, Kien Giang province, especially Phu Quoc city, has fully prepared the necessary conditions to welcome and serve tourists during the 2025 summer tourism season. Local tourism businesses have also proactively improved the quality of services, ensuring the best experiences for tourists.
According to Mr. Bui Quoc Thai - Director of Kien Giang Department of Tourism, in the first 5 months of 2025, Kien Giang tourism is expected to welcome over 5.6 million visitors, an increase of 26.9% over the same period, over 780 thousand international visitors, an increase of over 77% over the same period; total revenue from tourism is over VND 23,000 billion.
In particular, Phu Quoc continues to affirm its leading position in Kien Giang tourism, as a leading attractive destination in the region with more than 3.5 million visitors, an increase of 30.5% over the same period, over 770 thousand international visitors, an increase of 78.3% over the same period.
