Nam Thai Binh Duong Automobile Co., Ltd. - the distributor of VinFast electric cars in An Giang province - has just organized the handover of 103 Limo Green electric cars to the An Giang Provincial Department of Finance to put into use as official vehicles for communes, wards, and special zones of the province.
The event marks An Giang as a pioneering locality nationwide in greening the entire fleet of official vehicles of administrative units in the province to electric vehicles, thereby optimizing the efficiency of budget use and contributing to reducing emissions, contributing to the green transformation of the country.
Prioritizing the use of electric vehicles to replace gasoline and oil vehicles in administrative and non-business units is the policy of An Giang province to respond to the green economic development model, spreading awareness and spirit of green transformation to agencies, units, businesses and people in the province.
103 vehicles supplied to the An Giang Provincial Department of Finance under package No. 3 (purchasing 103 7-seater electric cars for general work for agencies, units, communes, wards, and special zones), after the process of participating in public and transparent bidding in accordance with state regulations.
Accompanying each handed over vehicle is a 22kW wall-mounted charger, helping agencies to proactively charge batteries right at the headquarters. In addition, VinFast and partner V-Green will also coordinate with units, communes, wards, and special zones in the province to survey and install additional fast charging (DC) pillars at suitable locations, ensuring wide coverage of charging infrastructure, convenience and optimizing operating costs for the service vehicle fleet, while meeting the needs of people.
