On July 7, 2025, Lao Cai Ward People's Committee approved the Project to renovate and beautify Coc Leu Bridge and the area on both sides of the road at the head of Coc Leu Bridge with an investment capital of about 17 billion VND.
The implementation period of the Coc Leu Bridge Renovation and Renovation Project and the area on both sides of the approach road of Coc Leu Bridge is 70 days from the date of signing the contract and has now been completed.
In addition, the newly built Phu Thinh Bridge with an investment capital of 450 billion VND also sparkles at night, contributing to beautifying the locality.
The installed decorative lighting system is capable of adjusting the light according to each time frame, both ensuring aesthetics and serving safe traffic.

Not only bringing a new look, the bridges have also become an attractive check-in spot for people and tourists.
In the evening, many people took the opportunity to walk, take photos, and watch the Red River in the sparkling light from the bridge.
Ms. Le Thu Ha - a resident of Lao Cai ward - shared: "Previously, this area was quite dark so it looked a bit quiet. Now, the bridge is bright, the streets seem to put on a new coat, much more lively and modern".
