On March 25, information from Market Management Team No. 7, Lang Son Provincial Market Management Department said that recently, grasping information on social networks, the unit coordinated with Na Sam Commune Police to clarify the post of Facebook account T.N on the page "Na Sam Market - Lang Son".
Accordingly, the content of the article and some comments from the online community expressed suspicion that Na Sam gas station is hoarding goods, waiting for price increases.
To clarify the case, functional forces inspected the gasoline and oil retail store of Ma Van Huyen LS Co., Ltd. in hamlet 4, Na Sam commune, Lang Son province.
The results showed that the store hung a sign saying gasoline and oil are out of stock and sales are temporarily suspended, and also sent Notice No. 02/TB-MVH dated March 6, 2026 to the Department of Industry and Trade of Lang Son province regarding temporary gasoline and oil outage.
Actual inspection at the tanks also showed that this facility no longer had gasoline and oil stored, and there were no signs of speculation or stockpiling as information spread on social networks.
After verification, functional forces clarified the Facebook account owner who posted the information and requested to remove the post to avoid causing misunderstanding in public opinion.
The incident was investigated in the context of the energy market being affected by the complex developments of the international political and security situation, especially the escalating conflict in the Middle East region.
In parallel with inspection and supervision, the market management force also combines propaganda and guidance for traders to strictly comply with legal regulations, improve responsibility in ensuring supply, contributing to stabilizing the gasoline and oil market in the area.
