According to the bulletin of Bac Ninh Provincial Hydrometeorological Station at 6:00 AM on August 26th, the current water level on the Thuong River at Cau Son station, Phu Lang Thuong is decreasing but is still at a high level above alarm level 3.
The water level on the Luc Nam River at Luc Nam station is decreasing rapidly and is above alarm level 1.
The water level on the Cau River at Dap Cau station, Phuc Loc Phuong is decreasing and is above alarm level 2.
Floodwater levels at 6:00 AM on August 26th on rivers at stations are as follows:
Forecast flood water level on rivers in the next 6-12 hours:
- On the Thuong River:
+ At Cau Son station: Continue to decrease and be at 16.25-16.60m, above alarm level 3.
+ At Phu Lang Thuong station: Continue to decrease slowly and at 6.45 - 6.80m, above alarm level 3.
- On the Luc Nam River:
At Luc Nam station, it dropped below alarm level 1 this morning (August 26) and was at 4.05 - 4.25m.
- On the Cau River:
+ At Dap Cau station, the water level is receding slowly and is at 5.40 - 5.64m, above alarm level 2.
+ At Phuc Loc Phuong station, it continues to decrease and is at 7.40 - 7.70m, above alarm level 2.
The flood warning bulletin still has a high level of risk affecting riverside dykes, dyke and embankment erosion at key locations.
Deep flooding, flooding in riverside areas, low-lying areas, and large-scale floating beaches that are still prolonged in some agricultural production areas, aquaculture, and residential areas of the locality may be dangerous for people's lives, production, property, and socio-economic activities in the river basins of the province.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province, as of 4:30 PM on August 25, floods caused 1,525 houses to have their roofs collapsed, roofs collapsed, walls damaged or flooded; 1,311 households had to be relocated and 1,257 households were isolated. The whole province did not record any casualties.
The dyke system recorded 2 incident points, including landslides at K6+000 of Lang Son embankment and Coc culvert on Tri Yen embankment with gaps and broken culvert wings. Rain and floods also affected 34 pumping stations; traffic had 90 submerged sewers, 39 landslide points and 33 negative taluy landslide points.
Agricultural production is affected with 9,987.03ha of crops flooded; livestock is affected with 2,313 cattle and 140,200 poultry; aquaculture area is affected with about 709.98ha.
