The Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province has just issued an official dispatch requesting the People's Committees of communes and wards with dikes to strengthen inspection and handle the situation of overloaded vehicles circulating on dike routes, in order to ensure the safety of dike works and traffic order in the area.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, in the past time, the situation of overloaded vehicles carrying construction materials still regularly circulates on some dyke routes, typically such as: Section K28+860 to K42+600 of Cau right dyke belonging to Tam Giang, Yen Phong, Yen Trung communes; section K36+400 to K38+400 and K45+000 to K59+600 of Duong right dyke through Dong Cuu, Dai Lai, Cao Duc communes; section K0+000 to K9+680 of Thai Binh right dyke through Trung Kenh, Trung Chinh communes; section K16+600 to K17+200 of left Thuong dyke belonging to Tan Tien ward; section K41+400 to K41+730 belonging to Tien Phong ward and section K5+400 to K8+650 of left Cau Ba Tong dyke belonging to Yen Dung ward.
In addition, some other dyke routes also have overloaded vehicles circulating, but not as often as some other routes.

To ensure the safety of dykes, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Ninh province requests the People's Committees of communes and wards with dykes to direct the commune and ward police, functional agencies to inspect, prevent and thoroughly handle the situation of overloaded vehicles circulating on dyke routes.
Strengthen the inspection of owners of construction material gathering yards in areas on riverbanks during operation, requiring compliance with the provisions of the Law on Dikes, not to load construction materials higher than 3m, not to build solid structures on the riverbank surface and immediately organize handling for cases of construction violations arising in the bank and riverbank areas.
