Bac Ninh strictly prohibits unreasonable gasoline and oil price increases

Bac Ninh - The Department of Industry and Trade has just issued an official dispatch on continuing to ensure the supply of gasoline and oil in the province.

Accordingly, to contribute to market stability and ensure a full supply of gasoline and oil to serve the production, business and consumption of people and businesses in the province, the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Ninh province requests key traders and gasoline and oil distribution traders to strictly comply with the provisions of law on gasoline and oil business, proactively negotiate and flexibly exploit supply sources to ensure timely and stable supply to affiliated stores and stores belonging to the system to serve the production, business and consumption needs of people and businesses in the province.

Petroleum traders with petroleum retail stores strictly implement the provisions of Article 26 of Decree No. 83/2014 of the Government on petroleum business, Clause 21 Article 1 of Decree No. 95/2021 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 83/2014/ND-CP, strictly handle violations in petroleum business.

Only stop selling goods after being approved in writing by the Department of Industry and Trade of Bac Ninh province, unless for force majeure reasons (fire, explosion, flood or efforts to apply remedial measures but cannot maintain sales).

Open stores and sell goods on time as registered, ensuring continuous and timely supply of quantity, quality, and types of gasoline and oil to fully meet the needs of consumption, production, and business in the locality.

Strictly prohibit speculation, hoarding goods, and unreasonable price increases that adversely affect the gasoline and oil market in the province.

In case traders operating in the gasoline and oil business in the area have violations, competent authorities will strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
