On the morning of April 17, information from the Bac Ninh Provincial Electronic Information Portal said that from April 1 to 14, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 and No. 2 of the People's Committee of Tu Son City inspected 124 establishments with signs of violating regulations on environment, fire prevention and fighting, and electrical safety in Ma Ong Industrial Cluster (Dinh Bang Ward) and Chau Khe Industrial Cluster, Chau Khe Expansion Industrial Cluster, and Da Hoi Craft Village (Chau Khe Ward).
According to the report of Tu Son City People's Committee, currently, in Ma Ong Industrial Park, Chau Khe Industrial Park, Chau Khe Industrial Park expansion and Da Hoi craft village, there are more than 300 establishments and households participating in the production of foundry, steel rolling, aluminum cooking, zinc smelting, rubber recycling, plastic production, mechanics, warehouses, trade...
Among them, many establishments have signs of violating regulations on environmental conditions, fire safety and electrical safety.
At the inspections, the Inspection Teams worked directly with the facilities, and announced the policies of the province and city on resolutely handling facilities that cause environmental pollution, do not ensure fire safety, electrical safety in craft villages and industrial parks; inspecting construction planning, business licenses, waste treatment, wastewater, emissions, conditions to ensure fire safety, electrical safety in production areas... of the facilities.
During the inspection, 66 facilities voluntarily signed a commitment to stop operations to fix violations; the grassroots authorities coordinated with the Electricity sector to cut off 3-phase power for 11 violating facilities, did not cooperate with the Inspection Team; a number of steel withdrawing, mechanical processing, weighing stations, warehousing construction, trade... committed to comply with environmental regulations, ensuring fire safety and electrical safety.
In addition, the Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 3 of the City People's Committee coordinated with the Department of Agriculture and Environment to conduct inspections of 2 establishments in the group of manufacturing sectors at risk of causing environmental pollution located in residential areas in Dinh Bang and Tuong Giang wards.
According to the Plan, from now until April 30, 2025, Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 3 of Tu Son City People's Committee will continue to inspect 52 facilities located in residential areas that cause school pollution, do not ensure regulations on fire prevention and fighting, electrical safety; resolutely handle violations, thereby creating fundamental changes in environmental work, contributing to building a clean, beautiful city, sustainable development.
