The most prominent is the addition of many login options, making it easy for users to access and use social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance services right on mobile devices.
Instead of using only the social insurance code as before, users can now log in to the VssID application using their personal identification number/citizen identification number (DDCN/CCCD).
This change makes it easier for users to remember their login account, creating consistency and convenience when linking to other identification documents. Previously, Vietnam Social Security also coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security to integrate the use of an electronic identification account (VNeID account) to log in to VssID.
This not only helps enhance security but also creates a synchronous and interconnected ecosystem between the applications of state agencies.

According to Vietnam Social Security, the unified use of national defense laws/CCCD to replace other codes, including social insurance codes, is an important policy of the Party and the Government to simplify administrative procedures, facilitate people and businesses, and at the same time improve the efficiency of state management, an important step in the national digital transformation roadmap.
To ensure continuity, without interruption, without affecting the rights of participants and beneficiaries of social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance, Vietnam Social Insurance will carry out the conversion to use the DDCN/CCCD number to replace the social insurance code according to the appropriate roadmap, participants and beneficiaries of social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance do not have to carry out any additional procedures when transacting with the social insurance agency or when going to the health insurance examination and treatment.
The above updates show the efforts of Vietnam Social Insurance in digital transformation, bringing the best experience to people and workers.
