Pursuant to Article 4 of Circular 11/2025/TT-BNV, the conditions for pension benefits are stipulated as follows:
Voluntary social insurance participants are entitled to pension when they are in one of the following cases:
1. Meeting the conditions for pension according to the provisions of Article 98 of the Law on Social Insurance.
2. Eligible for pension according to the provisions of Clause 9, Article 141 of the Law on Social Insurance.
Accordingly, voluntary social insurance participants are entitled to pension when they meet the following conditions:
Voluntary social insurance participants are entitled to receive pensions when they reach retirement age according to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 169 of the 2019 Labor Code and have paid social insurance for 15 years or more.
People participating in voluntary social insurance before January 1, 2021 and having paid voluntary social insurance for 20 years or more will receive pension when they are 60 years old for men and 55 years old for women, except for cases where employees wish to receive pension according to the provisions of Article 98 of the Law on Social Insurance 2024.
