Kien Giang Border Guards always identify and protect PM3 gas pipeline safety is contributing to the protection of national energy security. Kien Giang province has the largest number of fishing vessels in the country, about 14,000 fishing vessels of the Western provinces focusing on here to catch aquatic products regularly. If the propaganda is not well done, fishermen cannot determine the position and coordinates of PM3 air pipeline under the sea, they may affect the pipeline.

"In 2024 and the first months of 2025 alone, we have reached more than 1,000 fishermen, ship owners, and fishermen; distributed thousands of leaflets and leaflets related to the PM3 gas pipeline project and combating IUU fishing. Border Guard units also work with us to coordinate with localities to regularly approach ships anchored and fishing in the area under our charge, Mr. Luc shared.
