On June 29, Sam Son Ward People's Committee said that in the first 6 months of 2026, the number of tourists to Sam Son reached about 5.943 million, an increase of 8.1% compared to the same period; revenue from tourism and services is estimated at 11,000 billion VND, an increase of 6.3%. The seafood sector recorded an exploitation and farming output of 11,807 tons, an increase of 11.4%, while agriculture was maintained stably and disease prevention and control on crops and livestock was effectively implemented. Budget revenue reached 874.625 billion VND, equal to 96.9% of the assigned estimate.
The Ward People's Committee emphasized that departments, agencies, units, businesses and people need to join hands to protect the beach, tighten management of tourism services, strictly handle acts of trade fraud, trading in counterfeit goods, poor quality goods and violations of food safety and hygiene. In addition, urban embellishment activities, parking lot management, 4-wheeled electric vehicles, and cyclos are also strengthened.
Sam Son ward also said that it will continue to promote administrative procedure reform, apply land databases in management and site clearance, create favorable conditions for people and businesses, contributing to building a civilized, modern and sustainable Sam Son.
