On September 12, the Sam Son Ward Party Committee (Thanh Hoa) held a conference to implement the resolution of the 1st Ward Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
Mr. Le Trong Thu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council and Mr. Bui Quoc Dat - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; Trinh Tien Dung - Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee chaired the conference.
The Congress Resolution determined to build Sam Son to become the leading entertainment and recreation tourism urban area in the country by 2030.
The Resolution sets out 29 targets, including 12 economic targets, 7 cultural and social targets, 2 environmental targets, 3 national defense and security targets, 2 Party building targets and 3 other targets.
Some specific goals: average product value growth rate reaches 13.5% or more; average income per capita by 2030 reaches 136.5 million VND; 2026 - 2030 period welcomes 48 million visitors; 100% of roads are hardened; population participation in health insurance reaches 97.5%; poverty reduction is 0.35%/year; admission of 650 party members or more during the term.
To implement this, the Ward Party Committee has identified 8 key groups of tasks: management of planning, investment in synchronous and modern urban infrastructure associated with building smart cities; rapid and sustainable economic development in the direction of priority tourism services; effective management and exploitation of natural resources and environment, responding to climate change; developing culture - society in harmony with the economy; ensuring national defense - security; strengthening tourism development linkages with coastal localities; building a strong Party in politics, ideology, and ethics; innovating the working methods of the People's Council in the direction of democracy, closeness to the people, and efficiency.
Concluding the conference, Mr. Le Trong Thu - Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the Ward People's Council requested that the Party Committees and their subordinate Party cells develop a plan to implement it in a practical and effective manner; at the same time, consult with departments and Party building committees to ensure the plan is close to reality, bring high efficiency, and contribute to improving the material and spiritual life of the people.
The Ward Party Secretary requested that when implementing the Resolution, it is necessary to discuss carefully, collect opinions from all people and neighborhoods to determine key tasks. The implementation process must be associated with extensive, determined, drastic and timely propaganda work, in order to soon bring the Resolution into life.
"All activities need to be transparent and public, in the spirit of "people know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise". Works and projects must be implemented with high quality, sustainably, creating an impression and long-term use value" - Party Committee Secretary Le Trong Thu thoroughly grasped.
Mr. Le Trong Thu also requested that after 2 months of implementing the 2-level local government model, if any inadequacies or difficulties arise, it is necessary to focus on research, exchange and timely handling. The Party Committee is responsible for thoroughly grasping and concretizing the contents, orientations and instructions of the Central Government, the province and the ward, while promoting the effectiveness of information channels and e-commerce in implementation.
