In areas with many trees and rivers, people can see the fog layer when traveling. Most high-rise buildings were obscured by the mist.
"It's been a long time since this foggy phenomenon has reappeared in Ho Chi Minh City and has lasted until noon. Looking at the buildings, the trees were covered by this layer of fog" - Ms. Kim Thanh (living in Go Vap district) shared.

According to the air monitoring application Air Visual (belonging to IQAir, which owns a large amount of aggregated data on air quality, headquartered in Switzerland), on the morning of May 21, many areas in Ho Chi Minh City had air quality measuring points that were not good for health.
In particular, air quality in Phu Nhuan district is at the red alert level - 164. Next is Thu Duc City at 152, District 3 at 148.
The Southern and Central Highlands Hydrometeorological Station also informed that today's weather in the South is cloudy to cloudy, with intermittent sunshine during the day, and showers and thunderstorms in some places from morning to noon, concentrated in the provinces of Ca Mau peninsula and the coastal areas of the West.
