On August 2nd, Ea Kao Ward Police, Dak Lak province informed that functional forces are searching for a strange man who entered a resident's house, carried a 10-year-old girl for a while and then ran into a coffee farm area.
According to Ms. V.T. T. C, the mother of the 10-year-old child who was carried away by a stranger in Ea Kao ward, confirmed that the child is in psychological crisis and cannot eat normally.
Since the incident happened, the baby has not been able to eat and drink as usual, the family is encouraging and taking care of him to protect his health. At the same time, functional agencies are investigating and searching for the suspect who entered the house and hugged the baby," Ms. C added.
Previously, functional agencies issued a notice to search for the man related to the incident that occurred in the area, and at the same time announced identification characteristics for people to coordinate in providing information.
According to the announcement, at about 2:50 pm on July 30, a strange man entered a house in Cao Thang residential group (Ea Kao ward).
Here, this person approached the girl born in 2016 and asked: "Is anyone in the house?". After that, the man suddenly carried the baby for a while.
When the child shouted and called relatives, the man immediately ran into the coffee farm area in the direction of Ea Ktur commune, Dray Bang commune or Tong Ju hamlet (Ea Kao ward).
According to Ea Kao Ward Police, the man was about 40-45 years old, thin. At the time of the incident, this person was wearing a light blue long-sleeved shirt, shorts; wearing a black baseball cap, a mask, barefoot and a black bag on his hip.
Notably, this person has a tattoo on one arm, extending from the wrist to the elbow. The man carried a bottle shaped like an insect spray bottle and a knife.
According to initial information, this person is believed to be using an old Honda Dream motorbike to move.
Ea Kao Ward Police requested people if they detect people with the above identifying characteristics or know information related to the case, to quickly notify the police agency to serve the verification, investigation and search work.
The police agency also recommends that people raise their vigilance, strengthen management, and protect children, especially at times when adults are not at home.
