A leader of Vu Quang Commune People's Committee said that at about 2 pm on July 10, functional forces found the body of N.T. T. V (born 2016, residing in Song Huong village, Vu Quang commune) on the Ngan Truoi River.
Previously, at 2 pm on July 9, N.T. T. V and a friend were playing in the Ngan Truoi riverbank area, passing through Song Huong village.
While playing on the shore, V. stepped on the mud, so he went down to the riverbank to wash his feet and was unfortunately swept away by the water.
After that, the Vu Quang commune government mobilized forces to coordinate with local people and some charity groups from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces to organize the search.
After efforts to search, at about 2 pm on July 10, baby V's body was found and handed over to the family for burial according to local customs.
