Newborn baby girl abandoned on the way to pagoda in Lao Cai

    Lao Cai - After discovering a newborn baby girl abandoned, the People's Committee of Bac Ha commune issued a notice to find her father, mother or relatives according to regulations.

    On July 17, the People's Committee of Bac Ha commune issued a notice to find the father, mother or relative of a newborn baby girl abandoned in the area of the road to Nui Ba Me Con pagoda.

    Accordingly, at about 8 pm on July 15, people discovered a newborn baby girl abandoned in a cardboard box placed on the side of the road to Nui Ba Me Con Pagoda (Linh Son Pagoda).

    Through initial inspection, next to the baby, there was a blue nylon bag, newborn clothes, diapers, 2 milk sticks, the amount of 100,000 VND and a piece of paper with the words: "I was born on July 7, 2026. Due to family circumstances, I cannot raise the baby, so please ask anyone who picked up the baby to help raise him, I thank you".

    Immediately after receiving the report, Bac Ha Commune Police coordinated with people to take the baby to Bac Ha Regional Medical Center for health check, care and monitoring according to regulations.

    Currently, the baby girl has stable health, weighs about 3.4 kg and is being cared for and temporarily nurtured by the Bac Ha Regional Medical Center.

    Bac Ha Commune People's Committee announced that if the child's biological father, mother or relatives have a need to take back the child, they are requested to contact the local authorities to work and exercise their rights and obligations according to the provisions of law.
