On February 18, a leader of the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City (Dak Lak Province) confirmed that the authorities had verified the case of Mr. D.V.N reflecting on his 9-month-old daughter who suffered a bruise in the cheek when sent to the childcare center.
This childcare center was rented by a woman on Tran Quy Cap Street, Tan Lap Ward to look after 4 to 5 children for each child at a price of 40,000 - 50,000 VND/day.
Regarding this incident, Buon Ma Thuot City Police said that the unit had sent forces to the Central Highlands General Hospital to work with the child's father.
In addition, the authorities also worked with the youth care center on Tran Quy Cap Street, in Tan Lap Ward.
"Initial verification results determined that the child had dark purple on his cheeks due to a fall at the nursing home, there was no child abuse," the leader of Buon Ma Thuot City Police shared.
According to the People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward, although there was no act of abuse of the child, taking care of the child at this location was against the regulations. The People's Committee of Tan Lap Ward has advised the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot City to administratively sanction the woman in charge of the youth.
Previously, Mr. D.V.N (born in 1987, residing in Krong Bong district) took his child, D.A.D (9 months old) to Buon Ma Thuot city after the Lunar New Year to send to a daycare center on Tran Quy Cap street.
On the afternoon of February 14, after picking up his child home, Mr. N discovered that his two parents had bruises. Next, Mr. N called to ask, but the nanny did not admit to beating him.
After that, baby D had a high fever and vomited, so Mr. N took his child to the Central Highlands General Hospital for treatment.
