In the coming time, based on the proposal of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will agree on the policy of the viewpoint, objectives, requirements, criteria and expected commune -level units to arrange; direct the implementation of the process of collecting opinions of leaders of departments, agencies; districts, towns and towns on the plan of communal DVHC arrangement.
In the submission to the People's Committee of Can Tho City on the proposal to reorganize administrative units at the commune level, the Department of Home Affairs proposed to increase the number of administrative units at the commune level to 33 instead of 80 communes, wards and towns as at present.

In Binh Duong, this locality has planned to ensure that the process and procedures for submitting to the Government the project to reorganize commune-level administrative units before January 1 are completed. Implement the arrangement of commune-level administrative units to reduce by about 50% compared to the present.
From now until April 15, relevant units of the province will focus on implementing a number of key tasks when implementing the Project on arranging administrative units at the commune level.
In Bac Ninh province, this locality agreed to submit to competent authorities a plan to reduce about 50% of the number of commune-level administrative units after the merger. The expected time to collect public opinions on the Commune-level Arrangement Project is from April 18-23.
According to the report of the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh, the province currently has 8 districts, towns and cities with 121 commune-level administrative units, including 66 communes, 50 wards and 5 towns.
It is expected that the total number of commune-level administrative units after the reorganization will decrease by about 50%, ensuring a reasonable correlation, avoiding creating a large gap in natural area and population size between new communes and wards after the reorganization; ensuring that the grassroots government is close to the people, close to the people and serves the people best.
On April 5, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province said that up to now, the district-level government of this province has submitted a plan to reorganize the commune-level administrative units.
According to the submitted plan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province plans to have 32 commune-level administrative units.
