On December 21, the People's Committee of An Don Ward (Quang Tri Town, Quang Tri Province) confirmed that the unit is looking for relatives of an abandoned baby boy in the area.
Previously, at around 11:25 p.m. on December 20, Mr. N.Q.L (residing in Quarter 1, An Don Ward, Quang Tri Town) heard the cry of a newborn baby. When he went to look for him, he discovered a baby boy in front of his house gate.
The baby boy was about a week old, in normal health, and was placed in a blue plastic basket, next to which were 5 newborn shirts, diapers, and a bottle of prepared milk. Next to it was a handwritten note that read, “Please help raise him. Due to difficult circumstances, we cannot afford to raise him. Thank you.”
Upon receiving the information, An Don Ward People's Committee came to check and handed the child over to the person who found him to temporarily care for and raise the child.
An Don Ward People's Committee will issue a notice to find the boy's relatives according to regulations.
