    The Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City signed a decision to administratively sanction a series of enterprises and business households in the fields of environment and food safety.

    San Ho Da Nang Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company - Investor of Temple Resort Danang tourist area (address 11 Vo Nguyen Giap) - was fined a total of 224.5 million VND by Da Nang City for violating legal regulations on environmental protection and food safety.

    Previously, in April 2025, people reported a strong stench coming from the discharge pipe in the food area of Temple Resort tourist area.

    On the afternoon of April 18, the Department of Investigation Police on Corruption, Economic Crimes, Smuggling and Environment of Da Nang City Police coordinated with functional forces to inspect this business establishment.

    Through inspection, it was determined that the above establishment had violated legal regulations on environmental protection and food safety such as:

    Incorrectly or incompletely performing one of the contents of the environmental license. Dumping wastewater in the wrong place is in a public place.

    Violating regulations on environmental protection for owners of hazardous waste waste sources in cases of failure to sign a contract with a unit with a suitable environmental license before transferring hazardous waste for treatment according to regulations; not arranging or arranging a hazardous waste storage area that does not meet technical requirements according to regulations.

    The total fine that San Ho Da Nang Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company must pay is up to 224.5 million VND.

    At the same time, the People's Committee of Da Nang City forced this company to take measures to overcome environmental pollution according to regulations.

    Previously, in 2018, the People's Committee of Son Tra District issued a decision to administratively fine San Ho Da Nang Tourism and Trading Joint Stock Company VND15 million for discharging untreated wastewater into the environment. In addition, the enterprise was also fined VND40 million for violations in the construction sector.
